Digistar Q3 net loss narrows

PETALING JAYA: Digistar Corp Bhd's net loss for the third quarter ended June 30, 2018 narrowed to RM1.78 million from a net loss of RM5.98 million a year ago helped by lower cost of sales, higher other income and lower other expenses.
Its revenue jumped 15% to RM14.33 million from RM12.45 million in the previous year's corresponding quarter.
For the nine months period, Digistar's net loss narrowed to RM1.66 million from a net loss of RM4.49 million a year ago.
Its revenue rose 0.6% to RM42.84 million from RM43.09 million in the previous year's corresponding period.
Despite the challenging business environment taking into account the political and economic conditions in the country, with the ongoing efforts by the group to increase the revenue and implement cost cutting initiatives, the board expects the group’s performance in 2018 to remain positive.
