Unisem shares suspended pending announcement

PETALING JAYA: Trading in the shares of Unisem (M) Bhd has been suspended since 9am this morning pending an announcement.
"Unisem wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has approved the request for suspension in the trading of Unisem's shares with effect from 9am on Wednesday, Sept 12 pending the release of a material announcement," it told Bursa Malaysia today.
The stock closed at RM2.97 sen last Friday, with 2.07 million shares traded. It has a market capitalisation of RM2.16 billion.
