Police detain 3 over death of sub-contractor

SIBU: The police have detained three people including a woman in connection with the death of a sub-contractor here.
The suspects, aged between 23 and 48, were picked up today at about 2am in Jalan Kampung Nyabor.
District Police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the police were in the midst of tracking down another suspect, aged 41.
Yesterday, the 51-year-old victim was found injured in a four-wheel-drive at the Jalan Sungai and Jalan Lanang Barat junction but he later died at the Sibu Hospital at 9.56pm.
The suspects and the victim were believed to have known each other. — Bernama
