Sale of ETS tickets extended to Dec 31

KUALA LUMPUR: Sales of the tickets for the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB)'s Electric Train Service (ETS) has been extended from Nov 14 until Dec 31, with the current schedule.
In a statement issued today, KTMB said the extension of the ticket sales date was due to the upgrading project of the infrastructure and the Klang Valley Double Track (KVDT) system which is still being implemented.
"Tickets for Nov 15 until Dec 31 will be open for sale on Sept 25 from 8.30am. They can be bought online through the KTMB website or the KTM MobTicket application as well as at the ticket counters," he said, adding that the ETS trips have been maintained at 36 per day.
The KTMB also urged passengers to plan their journeys early, especially those celebrating Christmas and returning to their hometowns during the school holidays.
