AirAsia's share price rise 2 sen after incorporating new unit in India
PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Group Bhd’s share price rose as much as 2 sen this morning after it incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in India.
At midday, the stock was 0.33% or 1 sen higher at RM3.07 with 1.72 million shares traded. The stock traded at a high of RM3.08 during early trade, 2 sen higher than its last adjusted closing price of RM3.06.
Yesterday, the group told Bursa Malaysia that it has incorporated a new subsidiary named AirAsia Technology Centre India Private Ltd, to provide consultancy and services in the areas of information technology design, development and implementation.
This follows the incorporation of a subsidiary in Thailand named AirAsia Group Ltd last Friday. The subsidiary in Thailand will provide consultation and services to the company’s subsidiaries and associate companies.
