Marathon grilling for Rosmah at MACC HQ

PUTRAJAYA: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was questioned for almost 13 hours at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters today.
The 66-year-old wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak had arrived at 9.50am accompanied by a team of lawyers led by Datuk K. Kumaraendran, and only emerged at 10.40pm.
Rosmah, who looked tired, told reporters she was "okay".
She was said to have requested an extended questioning session so she would not need to be summoned repeatedly.
MACC did not reveal what the Pekan MP's wife was being quizzed on and its deputy chief commissioner (Operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki denied claims that she would be charged tomorrow.
This is the second time MACC has questioned Rosmah. The first was on June 5. How-ever, she was never charged.
Only Najib has been charged in connection with the probe into SRC International, a former subsidiary of 1MDB.
On Monday, MACC chief Comm Datuk Seri Shukri Abdull said investigations on Rosmah had been completed and it was now up to the attorney-general to decide whether she should be prosecuted.
None of Rosmah's family members accompanied her today.
However, Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam and former Langkawi Umno member Anina Saddudin turned up later.
