Nomination process over, seven candidates file papers

PORT DICKSON: Seven candidates filed their nomination papers for the Oct 13 Port Dickson by-election at the Port Dickson Municipal Council hall here today.
They are Pakatan Harapan's Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, PAS' Lt Col (Rtd) Mohd Nazari Mokhtar, Anwar's former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan and former Negri Sembilan mentri besar Tan Sri Isa Samad.
Three others are social media personality Stevie Chan Keng Leong, Lau Seck Yan, and Kan Chee Yuen.
Excluding Mohd Nazari and Anwar, the other candidates are contesting as independents.
Nomination period closed at 10am.
Returning officer Khary Maamor will make an official announcement on the final list at 11am.
