Is he stupid? Kit Siang questions Najib

PORT DICKSON: Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak must explain his refusal to reopen investigations on several high-profile murder cases when he was helming the government.
DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said the former prime minister should provide a public explanation instead of issuing "gibberish statements" regarding the matter.
This came after Najib posted on Facebook that if Pakatan Harapan (PH) refuses to open special probe on the murders, they should stop linking him with those cases.
"He should answer why he didn't reopen investigation when he was the prime minister then," Lim told reporters after attending a Pakatan Harapan ceramah, here, last night.
"I have a feeling either he's utterly stupid for not understanding what I'm saying, or somebody else is writing his statements for him. But I'm profoundly shocked he could utter such a gibberish," he added.
Lim was asked to comment on Najib's statement, which also said that PH's refusal to reopen the probes despite being urged to do so proved that he was not linked to the murder.
"They know if investigations were to be reopened, it will only prove I was never involved and had only been slandered by them for years," Najib had posted earlier.
Lim and Najib have been locked in a war of words in the past week since the former urged the government to revisit the high-profile cases.
These included the murders of Ambank founder and banker Hussain Najadi, deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais, Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu and the death of DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock.
