PUTRAJAYA: Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has completed another interrogation session with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) personnel on graft allegations.
The Umno president arrived at the MACC headquarters here at 9.15am and left at 7.40pm.
"After a total of four days of statements, in which I gave full cooperation for a few accusations, I hope this is the last session. If the information I gave is not sufficient, then I'm willing to come back to give my statement to the MACC." he said.
Ahmad Zahid was called to answer allegations on the misappropriation of Yayasan Akal Budi funds.
Ahmad Zahid remains the chairman of the foundation, which was set up in 1977 with the aim of eradicating poverty.
MACC is investigating claims that RM800,000 belonging to the foundation was used to pay off credit card bills.
He was first called up on the Yayasan Akal Budi case on July 3, and returned again on Oct 10 and 11, spending at least eight hours being grilled by MACC officers during each session.
His daughter Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid and stepbrother have also been called up to assist in the investigations.
