In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Fima said Percetakan Keselamatan Nasional had agreed to attempt mediation at the request of Datasonic Technologies during the case management on Oct 3.

To recap, Percetakan Keselamatan Nasional had on July 30 commenced High Court action against Datasonic Technologies, with a claim for RM24.975 million (excluding interest and cost) being the amount due and owing by the latter to the former.
The claim amount is for 1.5 million Malaysian passport booklets which were supplied by Percetakan Keselamatan Nasional to Datasonic Technologies, which the latter has refused, failed and/or neglected to pay.
