Budget 2019: Freeze on intercity toll hike

KUALA LUMPUR: Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng (pix) has announced that there will be a freeze in the increase of toll fees on all intercity tolls.
The freeze will come into effect on 2019 and involves a financial implication of RM700 million.
Lim also announced that toll payments in the motorcycle lane in Penang's first and second bridge, as well as Johor's Second Link, will be abolished.
This will come into effect on Jan 1, 2019 with a financial implication of RM20 million a year.
