Najib: BN lost because of fraud, defamation and false promises

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today insisted that Barisan Nasional (BN) lost in the 14th General Election (GE14) because of fraud, defamation and false promises made by Pakatan Harapan (PH).
In pledging his loyalty to Umno and BN, he said there is no plan to start a new coalition and stressed that neither organisation were at fault.
"There is nothing wrong with Umno and BN," he said during a dialogue at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), here today.
"We only lost because of fraud, defamation and most importantly, we lost because of false promises."
