City Hall orders 16 illegal massage parlours to close

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has ordered 16 illegal massage parlours around the capital to close following the raids carried out last night.
"We have inspected 22 massage parlours and we also seized items such as foldable chairs, tents and decoders of the closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras from the premises," said DBKL's enforcement director Azman Mahmood.
Of the total, 16 premises were ordered to close, he said.
"The raids were carried out from 8pm to 2am and involving 22 officers and personnel from DBKL," he told reporters here today.
He said DBKL would continue to be active in combating unlicenced massage parlours and would take firm action against errant business owners. — Bernama
