Sultan of Perak presents awards to 296 recipients

KUALA KANGSAR: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah presented the state awards, medals and honours to 296 recipients at an investiture in conjunction with his 62nd birthday celebration at Istana Iskandariah, here today.
Sultan Nazrin was accompanied by Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah, Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and other stage dignitaries.
Eighteen recipients had received their awards at the first investiture ceremony last Saturday.
In today's ceremony, 29 officials and players from The Bos Gaurus squad, who won the Malaysia Cup on Oct 17, received their medals from the Sultan.
Head coach Mehmet Durakovic was conferred the Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP) award while the 28 officials and players received the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK).
The team officials and players who received the PJK awards were Ahmad Khairil Anuar Ahmad Zamri, Amirul Azhan Aznan, Brendan Gan Seng Ling, Gilmar Jose Da Silva, Hamizul Izaidi Zulkifli, Kenny Pallarj, Khairul Amri Salehuddin, Khairul Asyraf Sahizah, Leandro Dos Santos, Mohamad Idris Ahmad, Mohammad Nasrullah Abdul Aziz, Mohd Hafiz Kamal, Mohd Nazrin Mohd Nawi, Mohd Nizad Ayob, Mohd Nor Hakim Hassan, Mohd Rafiuddin Roddin, Muhammad Firdaus Saiyadi, Muhammad Hafizul Hakim Khairul Nizam Jothy, Rafiq Faezz Muhammad Fuad, Muhammad Rizal Che Aziz, Muhammad Syazwan Zaipol Bahari, Nazirul Naim Che Hashim, Roslan Khan Md Sharif, V. D. Sam Pakiaraj, Shahrul Mohd Saad, K. Shatiya, S. Vijay Babu and Wander Luiz Junior.
They were among 66 AMP and 109 PJK recipients.
At the ceremony, Sultan Nazrin also conferred the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM) to six individuals.
Meanwhile, 23 people also received the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) award, 15 the Darjah Ahli Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (ACM), 72 the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) and five the Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan (PLP). — Bernama
