SHAH ALAM: If Pakatan Harapan fails to govern Malaysia effectively, those from the opposition such as Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos could rise to lead the country in the future, warned outgoing PKR Youth Chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (pix).

“I am not saying that we must cease the process of change or ignore it. If we are not careful, change – either in terms of economic, administration, politics or social – will cease to happen and Malaysia will “die” because we did not move forward. It is as simple as that.

“We do not want Jamal Jamban to become a leader or head the country ... nothing is impossible if we are not careful,“ he told youth members during PKR’s 13th congress held here today.

“Our progressive socio-political (landscape) must be strengthened with a fair and holistic economy. Let us not forget that Obama was followed by Trump, and Blair, Brown and Cameron were followed by Brexit. The same can happen to our country,“ he added.
