PUTRAJAYA: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak is at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters office here today, believed to assist in the investigations into a solar panel project for schools in Sarawak.

The vehicle he was travelling in was seen entering the front gates of the MACC headquarters at 9.23 am, followed by a police car.

Najib has been to the MACC office several times before this to help in the investigations into several cases, with the last being on Nov 8.

Last Thursday, Najib’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was charged with two counts of corruption involving RM1.5 million over a project to supply and install solar energy to 369 rural schools in Sarawak two years ago.

The former aide to the former Prime Minister, Datuk Rizal Mansor was also charged on four counts of soliciting and receiving bribes for himself and Rosmah amounting to RM5.5 million in connection to the same project. — Bernama
