BOGOTA: A landslide killed nine people in southwestern Colombia on Tuesday, emergency services said.
The landslide in the rural town of El Tambo left "a total today of nine dead and three injured," the National Risk Management Unit said in a statement.
The landslide struck after days of heavy rain. It blocked a road, making rescue work difficult, the unit said.
