THHE Offshore served with winding-up petition, RM1.1m claim

PETALING JAYA: THHE Offshore Services Sdn Bhd, a unit of TH Heavy Engineering Bhd, has received a winding-up petition from Zelican Sdn Bhd with a claim of RM1.1 million.
Following this, THHE has received 12 winding-up petitions in total since July this year with claims amounting to over RM48 million.
In a filing with the stock exchange, THHE said 70%-owned THHE Offshore Services was served the petition and claim on Nov 9.
Zelican alleges that THHE Offshore Services owes the sum for the supply of manpower and services for the Permas Project.
Case management is fixed for Nov 15, 2016 and hearing is fixed for Jan 16, 2017.
THHE said it has sought legal advice on the matter.
