KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has detained a brother of a former chief executive officer (CEO) of a government-linked company (GLC) who was held by the commission on Monday for allegedly accepting bribes close to RM40 million.
Sources revealed that the suspect was a sales manager of the GLC when his 50-year-old brother, who is a Datuk, helmed the construction and property development company between 2010 and last year.
