Adam Rosly: I’m ready to cooperate with MACC

KUALA LUMPUR: Ampang PKR Youth chief Datuk Adam Rosly has expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police or Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) following revelations of his castle-like home in Ampang, today.
Stating that he made his money from various businesses inherited from his family, Adam said that he was able to afford a castle-like house in Ampang as he was successful in his ventures.
"It is not strange to have the 'Datuk' title or wealth in this day and age.
"Many Malaysians are aware of young people who are rich and had received their 'Datukship' as well," he said after lodging a police report against Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos for gathering in front of his house in Ampang on Sunday.
The 28-year-old stressed that the house in question had only cost him RM1 million instead of RM7 million as alleged.
"I had won the bid for the house, which was an abandoned project during a bank auction.
"I do not have any position in the Selangor government and PKR Youth has always ensured that its members were not corrupt.
"If I was, I would not be openly building such a home in an area like this," he said.
He called on Jamal to not engage in gutter politics.
Adam's response came after Jamal had called him out to explain the purchase of the house as well as the source of his wealth.
Jamal had brought the media to make an aerial observation of the property via a helicopter ride prior to making his allegations.
