IPOH: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is seen to be changing his tactics often in attempting to achieve his own political agenda, said Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
He said Dr Mahathir did not seem to have a clear objective and direction in his political struggle.
"He was averse to illegal protests at one time, but now he seems to be accepting them because they contribute to his political strength.
"He does not have rules because the important thing for him is 'winning' in politics," he said to reporters at a Farmers' Organisation Authority workshop on the preparation of a paddy management module here last night.
Tajuddin, who is Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister, said the former prime minister was prepared to sacrifice his own principles by working with the opposition DAP. — Bernama
