Two sworn in as Senators

KUALA LUMPUR: Kota Melaka Umno Division vice-chief Datuk Abidullah Salleh was sworn in today as a senator.
Senator Bathmavathi Krishnan took her oath of office for the second term.
Both of them were sworn in before Dewan Negara president Datuk S. A. Vigneswaran in the special chamber of Parliament.
Abidullah, 57, is from Kampung Tengkera and represents Melaka, taking over from Tan Sri Mohd Ali Rustam who completed his term as senator.
Bathmavathi, a praplegic, is president of the Association of Women with Disabilities Malaysia.
