Bersih crowd heads to KLCC

Tens of thousands of Bersih 5 supporters converge at KLCC, after receiving the order by rally organisers to head to the iconic landmark at around 2pm.
KUALA LUMPUR: With Dataran Merdeka cordoned off to the public, tens of thousands of Bersih 5 supporters who had gathered in the surrounding areas shifted their final destination to KLCC.
The crowd had received the order by rally organisers to head to the iconic landmark at around 2pm.
The message was also disseminated via Bersih 2.0's official Twitter account.
This group was also expected to converge with other smaller crowds that had gathered around the city centre prior to that.
The road from Masjid Jamek to KLCC turned yellow as thousands of participants braved the 2.5km journey to their destination.
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was expected to address the crowd there later.
