Minor commotion as Red Shirts bump into yellow shirts along Jalan P. Ramlee

KUALA LUMPUR: A commotion erupted at an intersection along Jalan P. Ramlee here when a small crowd of red shirt motorcyclists bumped into a sea of yellow supporters.
The group of Bersih rally-goers were making their way to KLCC from their gathering point at Dataran Merdeka, when the red shirts appeared on their motorcycles at the traffic light.
The Bersih supporters then began taunting their nemesis, while the small group of red shirts taunted back, almost leading to a clash.
Both groups traded verbal abuses for several minutes as the commotion heated up.
The disruption was only stopped when police and Bersih security personnel intervened to prevent any untoward incidents.
Police then directed the red shirts to take a detour, away from the Bersih crowd.
The Bersih group then continued their march towards KLCC.
