MAHB reports full resumption of hydrant fuelling at klia2

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has reported that hydrant fuelling is fully resumed at the klia2 upon completion of all three stages of rectification plan for the raptured pipeline.
The stages entailed prerequisite, rectification, testing and commissioning of the rectification plan.
It a statement today, it said the rectified fuel pipeline had been confirmed safe by the Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fuelling System (KAFS) through certification from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
"With the completion of the testing and commissioning phase, all mitigation plans such as facilitation of hydrant fuelling at remote bays, bussing and ambulift services for passenger convenience have ceased effective today.
"We would like to thank all related stakeholders for their cooperation in helping Malaysia Airports ensure that safety and wellbeing of our passengers, as well as operational efficiency at klia2 remain our top priority," it said. — Bernama
