16th Telmin gets underway in Brunei Darussalam
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The 16th ASEAN Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministers Meeting (Telmin) kicked off here today with the presence of all member countries.
In the two-day meeting hosted by Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia is represented by Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak.
Brunei Darussalam is represented by its Minister of Communication Dato Mustappa Sirat.
Cambodia is represented by Tram Iv Tek, Indonesia (Rudiantara), People's Democratic Republic of Lao (Dr Thansamay Kommasith), Myanmar (U Kyaw Myo), the Philippines (Rodolfo A. Salalima), Singapore (Dr Yaacob Ibrahim), Thailand (Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong) and Vietnam (Ngunyen Thanh Hung).
Also present at the meeting are the Asean Telecommunication and Information Technology Ministers' counterparts from the People's Republic of China, Japan and Republic of Korea.
Today, besides having an exclusive session among the Asean Telecommunication and Information Technology Ministers themselves, the ministers also will have consultations with their counterparts from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea. — Bernama
