Opportunity knocks but once

HOW many of us are aware of the sheer immensity of the global fashion industry in China and the fact that the market in China is the largest? From renowned brands and labels, those undiscovered or yet-to-be named, statistics reveal that last year, fashion industry sales in China hit CNY $534 billion (RM345 billion).

Clearly, the Chinese fashion industry has evolved tremendously in the past decade and looks to be moving forward fast. But it’s not the overall trend of the Chinese people that we’re highlighting, instead, the propensity of China as THE garment manufacturer, supplier and retailer and how e-commerce has helped grow the trillion-dollar industry and present this opportunity for Malaysians and Singaporeans to take advantage of and gain from.

Briefly, the garment manufacturing industry in China is gargantuan. Four areas renowned for supplying the world with its fashion wear are Hangzhou, Guangdong, Humen and Fujian. One of the largest companies buttressing China’s garment and fashion industry is the Evergreen Garment Group, which plays a strategic role in the supply and export of garments and has formed business ties with Malaysia’s Berjaya Group to establish the Asia Apparel Alliance (AAA).

After a year of in-depth research, business visits and serious discussions between the alliance partners and Guanzhou’s Council for Promotion of International Trade, plus Dongguan City mayor and Fumin fashion wholesalers and others, Asia Apparel Alliance is proud to offer Malaysians and Singaporeans a chance to tap into the US$60 billion (RM267 billion) global apparel market and connect with Asean’s 600 million consumers via Asia ’s largest ONLINE AND OFFLINE (O2O) FASHION TRADING PLATFORM.

Business entrepreneurs, fashion retail shops, e-commerce merchants and interested parties are invited to discover more about the opportunities available in being part of one of the world’s fastest growing industries. Only 300 distributorships and shops will be offered via attractive low start-up cost packages.
