Missing student found drowned in Sungai Chiling

KUALA LUMPUR: The Form Two student reported missing during a camping trip in Sungai Chiling, Kuala Kubu Baru yesterday, was found drowned.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assistant director Mohd Sani Harul said the body of Anis Fatihah Hishamuddin, 14, was found about 10.35am today, about 500m from where she was reported missing.
"A rescue team discovered the body this morning and will be handed over to the police for next course of action," he told Bernama here today.
Mohd Sani said a total of 53 personnel from the Special Tactical Operation and Rescue Team of Malaysia (Storm); Fire and Rescue Department; the Royal Malaysia Police and the public joined in the search and rescue (SaR) operations.
It was reported that Anis Fatihah was among 47 students who had gone on the camping trip organised by the Bandar Tun Razak Umno Division religious bureau. — Bernama
