Robin Food app to feed the needy

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd has launched a food surplus application (app), “Robin Food”, to collect food supplies from organisations and the public to be given to the needy in the Klang Valley.
Group chief strategy and innovation officer Hari Nair said the app, which could be downloaded free, would be operated based on a business-to-business method.
“Donors who want to contribute will have to register through Robin Food while recipient organisations need to be registered with the Food Aid Foundation,” he told reporters after launching Robin Food here yesterday.
Hari said the two registered donors as of now were Tesco Cheras and Tesco Mutiara Damansara. – Bernama
