Working together

KUALA LUMPUR Metropolitan University College (KLMUC) is collaborating with more universities and organisations to help provide its students with hands-on experience in the working world.
In line with its core philosophy “real world practice”, KLMUC CEO Mohamad Kamal Nawawi said that there is a need to work with other universities, including those abroad, to help nurture its students.
“We cannot isolate ourselves, and we are looking to partner with other universities,” he said this after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KLMUC and International Management Institute of Switzerland (IMI) recently.
In the signing of the MoU, Mohamad Kamal represented KLMUC, while IMI was represented by its CEO Professor Theodore Benetatos – which would help mobility of students and lecturers between both tertiary institutions.
“This marks the second international partnership KLMUC has this year. The first was with Vincent Pol University in Lublin, Poland, where students can study in the university as part of their course for credits,” he said.
