PETALING JAYA: Keck Seng (Malaysia) Bhd’s Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certificate has been suspended for 60 days from Dec 30, 2016.
In a filing with the stock exchange, the company said the suspension was primarily due to inadequacies in providing estate contour maps for RSPO auditing purposes.
Keck Seng said it has taken immediate action to rectify the matter to lift the suspension. “The company will update any further development on the matter in due course,” it added.
Keck Seng is involved in palm oil cultivation and manufacturing, property development and investment as well as hotel and resort operations. Its plantation land is mainly located in Johor measuring 3,563ha, of which 3,308ha has been planted, according to its website.
