Funnyman Harith's success gets recognition of KKMM

KUALA LUMPUR: Harith Iskander today received a trophy from the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) in recognition of his success as The Funniest Person in the World.

The trophy was presented by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak at a function here.

"I was shocked by what happened. It is the highest award that I received in my 26 years as an artiste."

Harith said he would go on a road show in the United States next month (February) to meet the condition of the organiser for winning the competition.

"I will use the opportunity to promote Malaysian solo comedy and take it to a higher level."
