FrogAsia has launched its free education content for school students in 2017.
Collaborating with YTL Communications Sdn Bhd and Pelangi Publishing Group Bhd (Pelangi), the group will deliver free revision quizzes and tests to some five million students and 500,000 teachers in all 10,000 government schools nationwide through the the Frog Virtual Learning Environment (Frog VLE) platform.
FrogAsia Executive Director Lou Yeoh said that with the current technology, the classroom can “come alive” like never before.
“We can now engage students in a more interactive and meaningful way.
“We come together as educators, parents and partners in education to play our part in raising our 21st century learners in all schools across the country,” she said this at FrogAsia’s Leaps of Knowledge conference held at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur recently.
The conference, which was graced by Education Deputy Minister Datuk P. Kamalanathan, saw over 500 educators, parents, and students participating in a series of talks, seminars, and workshop on Frog VLE.
Also present were Pelangi Publishing Group Bhd executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Sum Kown Cheek and YTL Communications Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Wing K. Lee.
Kamalanathan applauded the move by FrogAsia in providing this education content.
“The Education Ministry is committed to leveraging ICT to improve the quality of teaching and learning. And it is important for students to get the latest information and best technology to study,” he said.
