1MDB appoints Parker Randall as auditor

PETALING JAYA: 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) has appointed Parker Randall as its new auditor, with the resignation of Deloitte in February 2016.
Parker Randall will be the state-owned investment fund’s fourth auditor since its incorporation in 2009.
1MDB said in a statement yesterday, it had submitted forms 11 and 52 to the Companies Commission of Malaysia on Jan 3, 2016, confirming the appointment of Parker Randall as auditor for 1MDB.
1MDB’s financial statement for the year ended March 31, 2015 is yet to be signed off. It missed its Sept 30, 2016 deadline, which was its second extension.
