Pakatan Harapan coordinators to oversee BN constituencies

GEORGE TOWN: The state government has appointed 12 coordinators from Pakatan Harapan to oversee constituencies held by Barisan Nasional (BN).

They will serve as facilitators between the state and the constituents.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (pix) said the appointments showed that the state government did not sideline constituencies held by the opposition in the state.

Ten coordinators will oversee state constituencies while the remaining two will act as facilitators for BN's parliamentary constituencies in the state.

"Their appointment is to ensure that they act as state representatives and resolve problems in their areas," he said during a press conference at Komtar today.

Lim said the coordinators will also act as the eyes and ears of the state government in their respective areas.

Those appointed are Asrol Sani Abdul Razali (Bertam,PKR), Muhasdey Muhamad (Pinang Tunggal,PKR), Ramli Omar (Penaga, Amanah), Rosli Hassan (Sungai Dua,Amanah), Ahmad Fahmi A. Bakar (Permatang Berangan,Amanah), Mustafa Kamal Ahmad (Telok Air Tawar, PKR), Azmi Samsudin (Sungai Acheh, PKR), Mohd Tuah Ismail (Pulau Betong,PKR), Halil Sabri Hamid (Telok Bahang,PKR ), Azrul Mahathir Aziz (Bayan Lepas, Amanah), Lay Hock Peng (Seberang Perai Utara,DAP) and Azhar Mat Dali (Seberang Perai Tengah,Amanah).
