PETALING JAYA: The water supply to areas affected by the burst pipe near Pantai Complex Reservoir is recovering in stages following repair works completed this morning.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement said that there might be some delay for water supply restoration for those located at the end of the distribution channel or high rise areas.
"The repair work took slightly longer due to the replacement of a few burst pipes in the area.
"However, relief water supply is being sent by water tankers to the affected areas and consumers who need additional supply can contact Syabas. We regret the inconvenience caused," the statement said.
Members of the public who wish to obtain more information on the water supply restoration can go to www.syabas.com.my, use the mySyabas smart phone application, or check Air Selangor on Facebook or Twitter.
