AS part of their final year project, Management & Science University's (MSU) School of Hospitality & Creative Arts (SHCA) students recently organised a three-day event called #FUYOOMSU 2016.
The event, held at the MSU Shah Alam campus, drew the participation of 500 students who took part in various social and academic activities related to Event Project, Event Management, Event Practices, Seminar and Fashion Show Management.
Among the activities held were Glowbar Dance, The Maze Runner, Pantomime Competition, Spartan Challenge and an entrepreneurship bazaar. There were also seminars on Malaysian Local Delights, Travel Blogging, and Malaysia Food Royal Heritage Spa & Wellness.
The highlight of the event was the charity gala night dinner attended by almost 1,000 people including the management team, staff, industry partners and students.
Guests were entertained throughout the night by SHCA’s pool of talented students and viewed fashion shows by students of the Bachelor in Fashion Design with Marketing and Diploma in Fashion Design.
MSU president Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid said #FUYOOMSU 2016 was an initiative by the university to support and highlight the creative talents of its students. He also thanked the staff and students of SHCA for making the event a success.
Mohd Shukri also presented a mock cheque of RM15,000 to the MSU Foundation and victims of the earthquake in Aceh.
