Puspanita members urged to channel accurate info on national transformation agenda

PUTRAJAYA: The Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) branch of Puspanita has been urged to help channel accurate information on the government's national transformation agenda implementation efforts.
Puspanita is the Association of Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants.
The ministry's Puspanita patron, Datuk Raya Erom who is also the minister's wife, said as Puspanita members also comprised women civil servants, they could be the government pillars to help resolve the problems of the people.
"Good civil servants would selflessly contribute towards ensuring that the people could live in peace and prosperity based on the government policies formulated to prosper the people," she said at the opening of the KKMM Puspanita 34th annual general meeting, here. It has 1,535 members.
Also present were the ministry's secretary-general, Datuk Seri Dr Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad; her two deputies, Datuk Mohid Mohamed and Datuk Dr Mohd Ali Mohamad Nor; and KKMM Puspanita chairman, Datin Abidah Sani.
Raya also called on the Puspanita members to equip themselves with more knowledge and skills for their own benefit, their children and other women's, as well as to carry out more educational and welfare programmes.
She said this way, they could increase their presence and contribute more to society. — Bernama
