Ho Hup, DSE bag RM221.4m job

    PETALING JAYA: Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad’s unincorporated joint venture with DSE Construction Sdn Bhd (DSE) has been awarded a rehabilitation works job along Sungai Besut, in Terengannu for a contract sum of RM221.4 million. The job was awarded by DSE.
    Other than to say that Ho Hup’s stake in the joint venture is 80.4%, no further details on the arrangement were given.
    The joint venture will carry out the project, which includes constructing a breakwater, revetment, silt curtain, beach nourishment, installation of settlement plates and all associated works in relation to the rehabilitation works along Sungai Besut, for a period of 36 months beginning January 2017.
    The group’s board of directors said through a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, that the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings and net assets.
