Happy anniversary YPC

13 Jan 2017 / 11:26 H.

YPC International College marks its 15 years of offering pre-univeristy foundation courses in the country by launching a new Foundation in Science programme.
MORE THAN JUST SCIENCE
With this new programme, students now have the choice of three foundation courses, namely Foundation in Business for students wanting to read a degree in business and accounting; Foundation in Business and IT which sets the pathway for an IT degree; and now the Foundation in Science, which opens doors to various universities here and abroad, including YPC’s partner Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).
REQUIREMENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Basic entry requirements include five SPM credits comprising Mathematics and English, as well as other Science subjects, depending on the degree course students intend to pursue. Only 300 places are available for the one-year foundation course, which is divided into three semesters and opens to a variety of fields of further study. From an engineering or a science degree to medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, health science, building and construction management, computer and robotics engineering, automotive engineering, architecture and more, the choices are endless.
OPEN DAY
Those interested can drop by YPC’s open day tomorrow. The first intake for the new Foundation in Science programme begins this month.
College principal Dr Noel Robert informs that scholarship opportunities are available.
“Giving all students access to affordable education has been the hallmark of YPC International College. We are firm believers of the fact that finance should not be a hindrance or barrier to higher education.” For more information, visit YPC’s website.
