Cleaner found dead near entertainment outlet

JOHOR BARU: A 33-year old cleaner identified only as Kuppusamy was found dead not far from an entertainment outlet where earlier he had an argument with an unknown man in Taman Tampoi Indah here today morning.
Johor Baru North district police chief ACP Mohd Taib Ahmad said police have arrested 11 suspects till late afternoon.
Police believe that a group of men had attacked and killed the deceased following the argument at the entertainment outlet on Saturday night.
The deceased who hailed from Pahang and worked in Singapore as a cleaner was found dead at Jalan Sri Perkasa 2/21 about 6.30am.
Police investigations revealed that the deceased had three previous convictions.
Mohd Taib said the deceased was believed to have succumbed to his head and ear injuries inflicted by a sharp weapon.
A post-mortem is being done on the body at the Sultanah Aminah hospital mortuary.
