Noble Excellence Awards honours achievements

NOBLE Excellence Awards is one of the few Malaysian awards to honour the achievements of exceptional completed property developments that made a difference in the lives of the communities they touched.
Proudly organised by TTien Media Group, the inaugural Noble Excellence Awards serves to highlight outstanding projects, as well as identify and honour conscientious developers who seek to make a real impact in the community residing within and around these projects.
“As organising chairman of this prestigious property award, we feel the need to continuously recognise and reward the good work that has been done in developing better living through modern housing and affordable homes, as well as building smarter and greener communities. It is also about transforming and changing the way we live for the better,” said Eddie Tan, who is also the managing director of TTien Media Group.
“The award also serves to distinguish itself from other awards by being open for completed projects only, as we believe recognition should be given after excellent work has been completed. We have received multiple invitations from various industry leaders who share a similar vision. As a result, this has led us to forge strategic partnerships to benefit all stakeholders for the future,” he added.
The property projects were assessed by a group of judges in two judging sessions. The best among them are awarded with the Platinum, Gold or Silver Noble Excellence Award (based on the scores from the judges and public voting) under 16 categories.
“The judging sessions comprise presentations by property developers followed by a Q&A session with the judges. During both sessions, the judges were thoroughly impressed by the boldness of participating developers who were willing to answer the many questions from various angles.
“The judges posed many questions as they wanted to know if property developers were deserving of the awards. It is a rarity to witness developers who willingly submit themselves to such scrutiny. The majority of the participants have also proven their willingness to be transparent, which is a testament to their integrity.
“We hold our judges to the highest standards of fairness, accuracy and integrity. The team is helmed by Datuk Ng Seing Liong, who is the past president and patron of Real Estate Housing Developers' Association of Malaysia (REHDA) and organising chairman of Malaysia Property Exposition (MAPEX),” Tan said.
The public voting contributed 30% while the judges are responsible for 70% of the winning outcome. This ensures house buyers have a say in the winners’ line-up.
“The award was designed for the industry to benefit home buyers, and to create a healthy and sustainable ecosystem between buyers and sellers. It is a fair and conclusive award which its winners can be proud of. We are pleased at the warm and positive reception from leading market players who highly appreciate the award concept and the way it is conducted as proposed by us.
“As Malaysians continue to seek better living and affordable housing, we believe real estate will continue to flourish in the foreseeable future amidst complications and challenges.
