Trader shockerd to learn a crack in decorative mirror caused by bullet

    KOTA BARU: To some, a crack in the mirror may spell ba luck. However, to trader Ng Chee Han, the crack he discovered in a decorative mirror at his Bandar Baru Kubang Kerian house here was something more serious - as it was caused by a bullet.
    "I was shocked when the repairman informed me that crack in the mirror was caused by a bullet and I lodged police report yesterday (Tuesday) because I am concerned for my family's safety," said Ng, 34, told reporters here.
    Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail said the shot was believed to have come from an air rifle.
    Meanwhile, in Tanah Merah, quick action by the owner of telecommunication store to call the police managed to foil a fraud attempt.
    In the 11am incident, Bun Ang Han, 43, the store owner, said he recognise the woman suspect from video clips that went viral as she entered his shop an wanted to buy prepaid cards up to 200 pieces.
    While he was talking to the suspect, his wife made an emergency call t police for help. A few minutes later, the police arrived and arrested the suspect.
    Tanah Merah District police chief DSP Suzaimi Mohamad confirmed the arrest. — Bernama
