PETALING JAYA: Two unique highway billboards have recently captured the attention of Malaysian drivers, many of whom were left rather amused by the creative advertisements.
The ads, which promote Dairy Champ's sweetened creamer and evaporated creamer, feature two iconic Malaysians: legendary Alleycats' singer, Datuk David Arumugam and the founder of Vida Beauty, Datuk Vida.
For Arumugam's ads, his face appears in a cup of teh tarik, with the overflowing thick bubbles resembling his iconic afro hairstyle. Meanwhile, Datuk Vida's face is embedded into a cup of ais kacang with pink syrup, while evaporated milk is poured on top to resemble a crown.
As part of Dairy Champ's 2017 campaign, the popular personalities have been chosen as its brand ambassadors.
Since the ads were unveiled, netizens took to social media to gush over its creativity and originality.
According to Marketing Magazine, Malaysians can expect more creative and attention-grabbing ads from Dairy Champ in the coming weeks.
