Father of Sungai Besar MP dies

SHAH ALAM: Mohd Zohdi Abdullah, father of Sungai Besar MP Budiman Mohd Zohdi, died today. He was 73.
Mohd Zohdi died of lung cancer at 11.37am at the Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Hospital in Sabak Bernam, according to Sungai Besar MP Community Service Centre officer Histam Tasrip.
He said Mohd Zohdi was admitted to the hospital last night.
Budiman, who is also the state assemblyman for Sungai Panjang, posted on his official Facebook account that his father would be buried at the Sungai Limau Muslim Cemetery after the Asar prayers today.
Mohd Zohdi leaves wife Fatona Saimin, 62, and six children. Budiman is the eldest sibling. — Bernama
