Two motorcyclists killed in 4-vehicle crash in Teluk Intan

IPOH: Two motorcyclists were killed while another was injured in a four-vehicle collision at 23km Jalan Labu Kubong-Teluk Intan near Teluk Intan today.
Mohd Yusof Ishak, 30, of Chenderong Balai and Mohd Iskandar Shah Abdul Ahmad, 17, of Chenderong died on the spot.
Their remains were sent to the Teluk Intan Hospital.
Hilir Perak district police chief Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad said Mohd Yusof and Mohd Iskandar Shah were riding their machines when they collided head-on.
The impact hurled Mohd Yusof into a 7m ditch while the other fell on the road leading to Labu Kubong, he said.
"Subsequently, a car driven by a female teacher struck Mohd Iskandar Shah while a male student riding a motorcycle rammed into the rear of the car," Wan Hassan said in a statement here.
He said the teacher escaped unhurt while the student sustained minor injuries and was treated at a clinic in Chenderong Balai. — Bernama
