Stone Master to miss annual report deadline

PETALING JAYA: Stone Master Corp Bhd told Bursa Malaysia yesterday it is unable to release its annual report for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2016 by Jan 31, 2017, pending finalisation of the audited financial statements for the year.
The delay is due to the substantial outstanding issues on consolidation of the accounts in relation to one of its subsidiary companies, namely S.P. Granite Sdn. Bhd. and other auditing issues.
Stone Master expects to file its annual report with Bursa Malaysia by Feb 8, 2017. Should it fail to do so, trading of its shares will be suspended by Feb 10, 2017.
