SMEs can achieve TN50 goal with right resources : Matrade

KUALA LUMPUR : Datuk Dzulkifli Mahmud, CEO of Matrade said the National Transformation 50 (TN50) vision can be an attainable goal for small and medium enterprises(SME), if the right resources are provided.
He said technology is a driving force for businesses, and locally sourced and developed technology can be instrumental in increasing the competitive advantage of local products in the global exports market.
On the cost SME's will have to bear in order to produce such technologies, Dzulkifli said more investments inflow in such companies and financial aid from financial institutions is necessary to achieve this.
Matrade is hoping that more local entrepreneurs will explore the international export market in line with the TN 50 vision and is looking to organise more activities to prepare stakeholders to achieve that.
