Man dies after being stabbed in club brawl

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was stabbed and later succumbed to his injuries after a fight with an unknown man at a night club in Mont Kiara on Saturday.
It is learnt in the 4am incident, the victim along with his two friends accidentally knocked into a man at the next table and a fight ensued.
During the fight, the victim was stabbed with a knife in the right side of the chest.
One of the victim's friends was also injured in the head and chest while the other friend was not hurt in the altercation.
The victim was rushed to Hospital Kuala Lumpur but died from his wounds there at about 9am.
It is believed that his injured friend was sent to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital (HUKM), but he refused treatment and left the hospital.
A source told theSun the victim also posseses seven previous records and has been arrested 19 times for various offenses.
City Criminal Investigations Department (CID) chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa confirmed the incident but declined to comment further on the follow-up investigation.
It is learnt that no arrest has been made so far but police are tracking down the people involved in the incident.
In July last year, a car jockey and cashier of the same club were slashed to death outside the club while another unidentified victim was in critical condition after being attacked by a mob wearing ski masks and armed with machetes.
Six suspects were arrested following the incident.
