Gloomy week ahead as rain expected in several states: Met Dept

    PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms over the waters off Sarawak and Labuan are expected to continue until tomorrow, the Meteorological Department (MET) warned.
    This condition may cause strong winds up to 50kmph and rough seas with wave height up to 3.5 metres (11 feet) and is dangerous for small boats, it said.
    Major towns and cities such as Kuala Lumpur are expected to experience thunderstorms in the afternoon throughout the week, with temperatures ranging between 24°C and 33°C.
    In the East Coast states such as Kota Baru, rain is expected on Thursday and Friday, with clear skies during the weekend.
    Kuala Terengganu will also experience fair weather from Thursday onwards, with temperatures between 24°C and 33°C.
    Kuantan, however, will experience rain in the afternoon.
